Fair!

It was fair weekend in Fredericksburg, so Opa and I took the boys for a night on the town. They loved the rides! There were several tantrums when we had to leave a ride, but all in all it was a good time. Ben rode anything they would let him ride. He even rode the little roller coaster by himself. Eli was totally pumped to ride the motorcycle ride, but unfortunately they would not let him. He was extremely upset when I had to take him off...never remove a boy from his bike.

First Day of School!!

Ben's first day of school was Thursday. He was so excited when he woke up that morning. I was so impressed with how well he did saying goodbye. There were no tears and he was not afraid to get in there and start playing. It was a very proud mommy moment. I think Eli enjoyed his time at home alone as well. He played with all of Ben's toys and was happy all day. I am just so excited that Ben loves his teacher and his new school. I am hoping for a great year.

Happy Half Birthday, Eli!!

On August 19th, Eli turned 18 months, so we had a little party with Mommy, Daddy, Ben, Opa and Kyle. We had an "E" cake for Eli and he loved it. I cannot believe how quickly this little boy has grown up. He is so independent for his age which can be a little heartbreaking. At his 18 month check-up, the doctor was very impressed at how easy going he was during the examination. He is a healthy boy, and we love him very much! Happy half birthday, Eli!!

Buzz and Woody

Our friends Jackson and Jamison came over to play one afternoon. Ben loves Jackson, and they were precious running around as Buzz and Woody. Too cute.....

Davey and Ellen

Davey and Ellen came for a visit the first weekend in August, so we all took Ben to Fiesta Texas. He rode his first water slide and had a blast. He is the bravest little kid when it comes to thrill rides.

Fire Station Field Trip

August has been busy, so I have some catching up to do. On the 4th of August, we went on a really cool field trip to the Helotes Fire Station. The boys really enjoyed seeing all of the fire trucks. Eli did not want to leave Fireman Jeff.
