No words...

I have no words to describe this particular morning. Eli decided to dress himself for the day. All I can say is that atleast he sort of matches. Ben wanted everyone to see his puppy "Gus." We drag Gus everywhere we go.

First Santa Sighting

So, I am finally waking up from my turkey haze... The boys did visit with Santa at Bass Pro shop before Thanksgiving. There were no tears, but Eli was pretty quick to squirm out of his arms. We saw Santa cruising through the parking lot before he made it to the workshop. Apparently, he drives a white truck and parks in handicap spots...who knew!!?

Monkey Boys

The boys have really enjoyed the cooler weather. On this particular morning, Eli inspired his big brother to take a turn hanging on the bar. Eli has the most amazing upper body strength and by 18 months he could do a full pull up. He definitely makes up for his stature with sheer brute strength.
Well, we did receive the news this week that baby #3 is a girl. We are very excited. It is going to be such an amazing adventure bringing a girl into the fold. Ben is very excited for a girl baby. I think he is going to be great with her. He is so unfailingly kind. All the kids in his class must talk about him a great deal because I receive many good reports from other moms. We are so blessed to have such amazing little boys.

Treating in the Burg

Aww yes, Halloween!! As per usual, we celebrated Halloween in Fredericksburg. The boys had a great time. There was not much napping on Halloween, so trick or treating became very dicey. We conned Eli into wearing the Woody costume, but his heart was not in it. We had to do a last minute wardrobe change before we set out for candy. It was great seeing our friends in town, but we were all exhausted on Monday. Next year chasing three kids is going to absolutely crazy. The countdown is on because we find out what we are having next Thursday (11/11).

Pre-treating

Friday was so much fun. We went to Ihop for breakfast because that had some amazing scary face pancakes for the boys to decorate. Ben and Eli love pancakes. There was a lot of chaos at the table, and I was beginning to regret my decision to take them to a restaurant alone. Once the pancakes arrived all was well with the world. After nap, we decided to dress up and visit the mall. I honestly thought there was a Halloween event, but we missed it. The boys still received cool treats from the Disney store, so it was not a total bust. We received alot of comments about the boys. Brian met us and was pretty uncomfortable with the added attention. They were just too darn cute as little Buzz and littler Buzz. My favorite part of the afternoon was our visit to the Apple store. The boys looked hilarious "working" on the computers in costume, and I think we helped sell some Ipads. Ben really took his job seriously....
