Babies and a Jedi

We are all about the babies these days. Mady's friend Everlee came over to play and it was cute to see the two of them together. They are only days apart, but Mady is so tiny. Eli is our little Jedi keeping the force very much alive in this house.

Fair

The Fair...is a Fredericksburg tradition every August. We go every year to ride the rides and meet new carney folk. It is a lot of fun and this year was no exception. It was hot and dusty, but the kids loved it.

First Day of School

Ben had his first day of preschool on August 24th. He was so excited to be back in school with his friends. Four of his friends from last year are in his class this year. His teachers are Ms. Willow and Ms. Irene, and so far everything is going well.

Blue eyed girl

I was taking pictures of my little blue eyed girl and both of the boys had to join in the fun. Of course, Eli jumped in front of the camera saying "Take a picture of me"....to funny. I love this picture of Ben and Mady. They are so sweet together. I hope he is always her protector. His kindness is one of his best attributes.

"Mady Mae"

"Mady Mae" is such a hit with her brothers. They adore her and it is so cute to see her tracking them all day long. No one makes her laugh like Eli and no one makes her smile like Ben. It really is absolutely adorable. We finally have Mady on the right formula, and she has been healthier and happier. We will visit the GI specialist again in a few weeks to determine the next step for her. In the meantime, we have started cereal, and she is not a fan. I wish we could bottle up this little girl because she is just so darn sweet and happy all the time.

Cow Valley Creek

Opa and Nana recently acquired a 200 acre ranch in Mason county. They have been working hard to build a cabin on the property. The boys love it. They love to go out there and ride 4-wheelers or "motorcylces" (which is what Eli calls them). Uncle Kyle and Opa are so good about taking them on rides and letting them drive. Although Eli is only 2 he really thinks that he can drive anything with a motor, and we really have to monitor him. We are looking forward to the completion of the cabin because I have a sneaking suspicion that we will be spending many weekends out there.
