Halloween 2011

The kids were so adorable. I have to say I think we had the best costumes this year. It will be a sad day when they no longer want to coordinate. Eli was totally into it. He was using force and shooting electricity all over the place. Brian's mom made their robes, and they were amazing. We are simply having too much fun around here. I cannot wait until Christmas......

Estes Park

Brian, Nana, and I took the kids on a whirlwind trip to Colorado for Carrie's wedding. Estes Park was incredible. The aspens were turning and the Elk were everywhere. The pictures are not in any kind of order. Ben was an incredible ring bearer and Deanne better watch out because he is still talking about precious baby Norah. It was a great trip, but we hope to go back. There were so many things to do, but there was so little time.

Pumpkin Patch

We made our annual pilgrimage to the pumpkin patch in Medina, but this year we went with the Russells. The boys played with Audrey and Olivia. We painted faces and pumpkins, rode rides and saw some animals. It was a great day!!

Jedi Robes

Brian's mom made these incredible Jedi Robes for the boys. They are planning to be Jedis for Halloween. They look awesome!!

More Fun in the Big D...

We squeezed as much as possible into our trip up North. We were able to see Granddaddy and Mady was pretty excited. The boys were in heaven with the Ellis clan. I don't think a day does by that Ben does not ask to go to Dallas to see the Hudaks and the Ellis'.

Star Wars Days at Legoland

Ben & Eli's two favorite things were coming together, so we knew we had to take the kids to Legoland for the Star Wars event. Legoland was small, but pretty cool. The boys had a ton of fun. They loved seeing all of the random characters walking around. We were sad that Darth Vader was not able to make the party, but all in all it was a great day. I sure hope Mady embraces this Star Wars obsession in our house.

On the move....

In September we began our trek through Texas. We visited Brian's dad in Austin, and our friends in Dallas. The boys are trying on jet packs at the Aerospace Museum near Love field. We had a blast there with our friends the Hudaks.
