Last moments on the beach....

The beach was so amazingly beautiful. We had to take some last minute pics. It was a great vacay, but traveling with three small children is so difficult. It took an army. Thanks to my parents and my aunt and uncle we survived...

ATV experience

This might go down as one of the worst excursions ever. Renting ATV's to ride through the "jungle" sounded so promising but ended up so very wrong. We basically drove ATV's on a back road near the resort. The guide stopped at his friends house (it was really a shack) for a chat and drove so quickly down the road that we all ate dirt. For some reason Ben thought it was amazing, but it was really quite terrible. The boys were caked in dirt....awful way to end the vacay!!

Batman and Mady

Mady was such a trooper throughout the entire trip. She is such a sweet baby girl. What a blessing. Here the boys are pretending to be Batman. Eli refused to take off his "cape" to go to bed. I had to wait until he was asleep to loosen the knot, so he would not strangle himself. He is very serious when he is pretending to be a superhero. He takes his duties very seriously.

Twilight on the Beach

Nana took Mady for the evening so Brian, the boys, and I could spend some time on the beach. The boys just loved chasing waves.

4th of July

We spent the 4th on the beach in Punta Cana. Mady was passed out by 10a.m.

On our way to the Dominican...

It was 4 in the morning but we were so very excited for our trip. Three kids on a 6 hour flight with one connection...all too easy for the Lewis family.

Bloods vs. Crypts...nope just a couple of pirates

Thanks to the Disney show Jake and the Neverland pirates the boys are obsessed with running around the house pretending to be pirates. This was the day before we left for our big trip to the Dominican. Brian and I were frantically packing while the boys ran around speaking pirate...RRRRrrrrrrr!!
